Terms of Service

What this service does

Epic Studio downloads publicly reachable media from third-party websites on your instruction and stores it in your account for a limited period. It is a tool. It does not host, curate or supply any media itself.

Your responsibility for what you download

You are solely responsible for what you fetch and what you do with it. Many sites — YouTube among them — prohibit downloading in their own terms, and copyright applies regardless of the tool used. You agree to download only material you have the right to: your own uploads, public-domain and openly-licensed works, or content you have the rights holder's permission to keep. You may not use this service to infringe copyright or to redistribute what you download.

Accounts

Keep your password to yourself; you are accountable for activity under your account. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or place a disproportionate load on it.

Plans, payment and cancellation

Paid plans bill monthly in advance. Cancel any time — you keep paid features until the end of the period already paid for, then return to the free tier. We do not refund part-months unless the law where you live requires it. Plan limits are listed on the pricing page and may change with notice.

Storage is temporary

Finished files are deleted from the server shortly after you download them, and within six hours if you never do. This is a staging area, not a backup service or a library — save anything you want to keep to your own device.

Availability and liability

The service is provided as-is, without warranty. Source sites change constantly and downloads may fail; we do not guarantee that any particular item can be fetched, or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost files, or indirect losses.

Privacy

What is stored

What is never stored

Card details never reach this server. Payment is handled entirely by Stripe on their own pages. There is no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no third-party scripts on this site.

Who can see your files

Each account has an isolated storage directory. Other users cannot list, read or download your files, and file requests are restricted to the requesting account's own folder. Server administrators have access to the underlying disk, as with any hosted service.

Retention and deletion

Downloaded files are deleted from the server shortly after you collect them, and within six hours regardless. History entries remain until you clear them; clearing history does not reset your monthly usage count. Ask an administrator to delete your account and it is removed along with every file it owns.

Third parties

When you download something, this server contacts the source site directly, and that site will see the server's IP address. Stripe processes payments when billing is enabled. Nothing else leaves the server.
